Some can be hired by the hour or by the day for a class or a workshop; others are part of a venue with accommodation, for a retreat lasting several days.
Before booking, ask about the floor area (4 to 5 m² per participant for floor-based practice), the type of flooring, the equipment provided (mats, cushions, sound system) and whether the room is heated or air-conditioned, depending on the season.
