15th-century family home - Kitchen garden - Swimming pool & large sauna in the forest overlooking the 3-hectare pond.

Cyrille & Valérie welcome you to Le Couvent, their home. Here, we seek to live close to nature with as little impact as possible.
At the top of this Nivernais hill, we've invited a large permaculture vegetable garden, a forest garden, a few biodiversity beehives, a conservatory orchard and feeder hedges, a phytodepuration system. We've also planted a truffle farm and installed a vat to produce our spirulina. Our cuisine is vegetarian, generous and tasty, made mainly with vegetables from the kitchen garden and fruit from the orchard.

For your activities and rest periods:

• a 36 m2 yoga room, heated, with mats and cushions, and an overhead projector
• a 48 m2 living/dining room with library
• two changing rooms
• an herbal tea room
• a south-facing pool overlooking the valley
• a large sauna for 15 people by the pond in the forest
• a 3-hectare pond with a boat, a 96 m2 platform and a shelter from the sun and bad weather: ideal for meditation or outdoor group practice
• comfortable accommodation in the heart of nature: cabins and barrels
• a large 5-person dormitory with single beds

There are many beautiful walks to be enjoyed, in the Amognes forest, along the Loire or in the surrounding forests.

Sleep in the heart of nature

Three pretty log cabins (La Vallée, La Forêt, La Truffière), set apart on the hillside, serve as bright, comfortable rooms opening onto a terrace overlooking the valley. A high-performance wood-burning stove provides extra heat if needed. Suitable for the electro-sensitive, these cabins were built with local wood. La Truffière has a 140/190 double bed, La Forêt a 160/200 double bed and La Vallée two 90/190 single beds.
