La Ferme Mellon is a magical place to give yourself room to tune into body, heart and mind.
We’ll immerse you in the world that has shaped the Breton imagination since time immemorial, rooted in its bond with nature.
La Ferme Mellon is in central Brittany (Kreiz Breizh), between Brest and Rennes and about 60 km from the Breton coast, in the commune of Plouguernével.
Our accommodation sits in the middle of nature, on the edge of the small hamlet of Kergus. Set in the Montagnes Noires (Black Mountains) at 220 metres above sea level, the hamlet and its 14 year-round residents are close to the village of Rostrenen and all its amenities: a lovely market, shops, bars and restaurants.
We offer a range of accommodation with a total capacity of 10 people, with breakfast available if you’d like it.
The Guest House (sleeps 6) has two single rooms, two double rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.
Le Chalet (sleeps 2) with a double bed, a sofa bed, a small sitting room, a kitchen and a bathroom
La Cabane de sorcière (for 2 people) with two single beds. The bathroom is outside, in a separate shower and toilet block.
Over the last 13 years we have planted more than 1800 trees across our 5 hectares of land to create an enchanting setting. Lovely walks lead to a clearing next to a small wood with a little stream running through it, and to the area where the farm animals live.
The “Galadriel Room”, measuring 40 m², can host all kinds of events, such as seminars, retreats, workshops, training courses and anything else you have in mind.
We are both Reiki masters and qualified wellbeing massage therapists. We are pleased to offer a wide range of different massages in our massage room, carefully fitted out for the purpose.
In the farm’s mineral shop, you will find a wide choice of healing and precious stones, along with jewellery and accessories for gemstone massage. Jörg, a trained crystal therapist, is always happy to give advice.
During your stay, we’ll be delighted to offer you a taste of a sound journey
To help you unwind even more, a sauna, a small bar, an open fire and a barbecue can be made available.
