Organising a workshop or retreat in Corsica
In Corsica the mountains and the sea are both close at hand, and a retreat on the island usually stays with participants for a long time. Group gîtes, practice rooms and group accommodation centres are often stone village houses or estates surrounded by maquis.
You need to plan further ahead than elsewhere: book flights or the ferry, then transport on the island. Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Figari have airports, with direct flights from most major cities in season.
For yoga, meditation, qi gong or hiking, May to June or September to October are the best times to come. July and August are hot and crowded.
