Welcome to Shanti Lake, a retreat center nestled in the heart of the Ariège region, in Occitanie, at the foot of the Pyrenees.

Surrounded by more than 7 hectares of unspoiled nature, Shanti Lake hosts retreats focused on yoga, meditation, qi gong, personal development, writing, creativity, and dance, as well as training programs, seminars, and any other experience that promotes renewal.

The property can accommodate up to 28 people in a mix of single, double, and triple rooms, as well as dormitories. Its main advantage is that it offers two separate practice areas, making it possible to organize multiple activities simultaneously or to provide maximum comfort for groups:

• A practice room measuring approximately 80 m², located on the top floor of the castle—bright and full of charm.

• A large shala measuring over 100 m², housed in a renovated former barn, ideal for yoga, qi gong, dance, training sessions, workshops, or group practices.

The studios are equipped with Manduka mats, yoga blocks, straps, cushions, yoga chairs, meditation equipment, a 4K projector, a large whiteboard, and a Bose Professional audio system with wireless microphones.

Participants also enjoy numerous outdoor spaces, a sauna, an outdoor fire pit, gardens, and relaxation areas, as well as an exceptional natural setting that promotes tranquility and reconnection.

We offer several options to suit your needs: self-catering, half-board, or full-board, featuring healthy, homemade meals tailored to various dietary needs.

Whether you’re organizing a yoga retreat, a workshop, a training program, a wellness seminar, or an immersive experience, Shanti Lake offers a warm, flexible venue that can be fully reserved for your group, designed to provide an authentic experience in the heart of nature.

Located about an hour from Toulouse, Shanti Lake combines accessibility, tranquility, and immersion in a pristine natural setting, making every stay a truly rejuvenating retreat.

Location access

Shanti Lake is located in Clermont (09420), in the Ariège department, about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Toulouse.

The estate is easily accessible by car. The train stations in Foix, Saint-Girons, and Boussens are nearby, with connections to Toulouse. The airports in Toulouse-Blagnac (about 1 hour and 15 minutes away) and Carcassonne (about 1 hour and 45 minutes away) also provide easy access from France and abroad.

Free parking is available on site. We can also connect you with shuttle or carpool services to help participants get here.

Rates

Rates vary depending on the season, the length of stay, and the number of guests. As a general guide, accommodations typically start at €50 per person per night (excluding meals).
