Welcome to Shanti Lake, a retreat centre tucked away in the heart of the Ariège, in Occitanie, at the foot of the Pyrenees.
Surrounded by more than 7 hectares of unspoilt nature, Shanti Lake hosts retreats in yoga, meditation, qi gong, personal development, writing, creativity and dance, as well as training courses, seminars and any other experience that helps people recharge.
Plenty of beds to accommodate your group, in a mix of single, double and triple rooms and dormitories. Its main strength is that it offers two separate practice spaces, so you can run several activities at the same time or give groups the greatest possible comfort:
• A practice room of about 80 m² on the top floor of the château, bright and full of charm.
• A large shala of over 100 m², set in a renovated old barn, ideal for yoga, qi gong, dance, training courses, workshops or group practice.
The rooms are equipped with Manduka mats, blocks, straps, cushions, yoga chairs, meditation equipment, a 4K projector, a large whiteboard and a Bose Professional sound system with wireless microphones.
Participants can also enjoy plenty of outdoor space, a sauna, an outdoor fire pit, gardens and relaxation areas, all in an exceptional natural setting that encourages calm and reconnection.
We offer several options to suit your needs: self-catering, half board or full board, with healthy home cooking adapted to different dietary requirements.
Whether you are organising a yoga retreat, a workshop, a training course, a wellbeing seminar or an immersive stay, Shanti Lake offers a warm, flexible venue that your group can book exclusively, designed to give you an authentic experience in the heart of nature.

Getting there, Clermont
Shanti Lake is in Clermont (09420), in the Ariège, about an hour and a quarter from Toulouse.
The estate is easy to reach by car. The stations at Foix, Saint-Girons and Boussens are close by, with connections to Toulouse. Toulouse-Blagnac airport (about 1 h 15 away) and Carcassonne airport (about 1 h 45) also make it easy to get here from elsewhere in France and abroad.
